Reddit ubiquiti usg

It seems like the request is hitting the USG website rather than the backend kubernetes service. on Ubiquiti's Website, and on reddit. There is a lot of back and forth on topics, and most of the time all of the information is not given. To that end I tried to be as complete as I could with this post.

I have my modem, the USG, a USW-8-150W, a CK-Gen2-Plus, and a Raspberry Pi all in a somewhat small enclosure, so passive cooling alone just doesn’t work out. Currently have an older USG that has the VoIP port. I’d like to upgrade. Does ubiquiti offer anything besides the UDM pro that offers IPS at 1gbps or more? UDM Pro has way more than I need software wise. This is for a home lab.

For ad blocking and to have better control over DNS I use Pi-hole running on a Raspberry Pi. I'm a huge fan of Ubiquiti's WiFi products and the Unifi controller software. Very reliable and feature-rich for an amazing price-point. This USG? Not so good. If you just want to connect your network to the Internet, it's an OK gateway device.

I'm a huge fan of Ubiquiti's WiFi products and the Unifi controller software. Very reliable and feature-rich for an amazing price-point. This USG? Not so good. If you just want to connect your network to the Internet, it's an OK gateway device. It'll fill all the gaps in the Unifi software which require a USG, giving you pretty traffic graphs, etc.
